Increased economic empowerment

INDICATOR(S)

  • Number of female students enrolled in technical and vocational education and training (TVET) or other job training, both full-time and part-time, under (X agency's) projects.

Notes:

“TVET” comprises formal and nonformal education and training, and informal learning related to the workplace. It includes the study of technologies and related sciences and the acquisition of practical skills, attitudes, understanding, and knowledge relating to occupations in various sectors of economic and social life. Through TVET, women and girls learn knowledge and skills from basic to advanced levels across a wide range of institutional and work settings.

“Other job training” refers to training outside the workplace that can stimulate job opportunities for women. This may include entrepreneurship training and other types of non-TVET training in employable skills.
