INDICATOR(S)

  • Total number of female students enrolled in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) or nontraditional technical and vocational education and training (TVET), both full-time and part-time, under (X agency's) projects.

Notes:

STEM is an educational program developed to prepare primary and secondary students for college and graduate study in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Nontraditional TVET refers to learning programs related to sectors and fields dominated by men, such as automotive and mechanical repair, carpentry and construction, plumbing, metalwork, and electronic and electrical work.

Each individual is counted only once, regardless of the number of years a student attends the education or training institution.
